Inspiration

Pure Attar Luxurious Oils is a line of Bath & Body oils and was created and launched in October 2000 by Jennifer Pedraza, a Certified Aromatherapist and spa manager living in Vancouver, Canada. After years of working in the cosmetic and spa industries, she discovered a startling lack of unique, exotic and 100% natural products on the market...

"I found that the majority of products I encountered were unimaginative and made with common oils like Tea Tree or Rosemary which are very medicinal smelling oils. Aromatherapy is so much more than that; to me it's about the pleasure of being surrounded in luxurious scents; of traveling in time to places of grandeur and elegance. There are so many beautiful and exotic oils that have been used for centuries to evoke this feeling of timeless luxury and I’ve always been drawn to these scents in my practice and in the products I make".

Jennifer continued with extensive research into the oils and scents of the Middle East; those that have been used for centuries in the Hammams (Turkish style steam baths) of regions like North Africa and Persia. The four signature blends of Pure Attar were inspired by, and appropriately named after, cities where Hammams were created and can still be found today.

Each Pure Attar product is handcrafted using only the highest quality essential oils and fragrances and created with the sophisticated woman and man in mind.
